Kids' birthday from 8: how the party works
The Witch and The Chinese Box in Bogenhausen are built for exactly this age: level 2 and 3.5, search and puzzle tasks, spookiness only as atmosphere. The birthday child invites up to 5 friends into The Witch or up to 7 into The Chinese Box; an adult supervisor is in the room and plays for free. With more guests, two rooms play side by side — and compare times afterwards.
Bogenhausen opens at 10 am, so the party fits in the morning too. Free parking is right at the door. After the 60-minute mission: team photo, a small gift for the team, and the party goes on.
Birthdays at 12, 14, 16 — and horror from 18
Teenagers want more thrill: The Castle Cell, The Cave of Death and Seven Kingdoms can be played from 12 accompanied and from 14 on their own with a parental consent form. From 16 Taphephobia is added, our psychological thriller for teams of two or four. And whoever turns 18 celebrates in the Dungeon — the room that 8 whole groups haven't finished since July 2025.
Adult birthdays work the same way: one room for the close circle or several rooms in parallel for the big crowd. Mixed groups split up — the horror fans into the Dungeon, the others into Seven Kingdoms.
What does a birthday at the escape room cost?
The normal price, no surcharge: €44 per person as a pair down to €26 with seven. The birthday child plays free from a group of 4 — within their birthday week, at any age. Twins? From 5 people both play free. The birthday child doesn't count towards the price: you pay the team price for your group without the birthday child. Book the group online as usual and let us know on site — we then work out the price for everyone else.
One accompanying adult per room also plays for free. If you want to give the birthday as a present, take a voucher — instantly as a PDF, valid for all rooms.
Hire the whole venue
For the big party there's the whole house: in Bogenhausen up to 23 people (25 children and teens) play at the same time in four rooms, in the old town up to 17 in three. For birthdays we add one place per room on request — then adults can be up to 27 as well. Even more guests play two rounds, the second starting 15 minutes after the first ends. Call us and we'll plan rooms, times and order with you.
A gift waits at the end
Every mission you play comes with a small gift for your team, handed over on site — we won't say what it is. Only this much: it fits in a pocket, and once you have one, you'll want the next.

The game lasts 60 minutes, with briefing and team photo about 80. Arrive 15 minutes before your booked time.
