Our recommendation by group

  • First escape room: The Witch (level 2) or The Chinese Box (level 3.5) — no horror, very solvable.
  • With kids from 8: the same two; from 12 accompanied also Seven Kingdoms.
  • Date for two: The Witch — or Taphephobia if you both like a thrill.
  • Puzzle pros: Seven Kingdoms, level 5.
  • Horror fans: Dungeon (18+) — 8 groups have bailed out. Then The Cave of Death, Taphephobia.
  • Large group up to 23: Bogenhausen, several rooms in parallel — Hexe, Schatulle, Burgverlies, Todeshöhle.
  • Wheelchair accessible: The Chinese Box, up to three wheelchairs.
  • Into town afterwards: the old town — Seven Kingdoms, Taphephobia, Dungeon, a few minutes' walk from Marienplatz.

Escape room for two in Munich

All seven rooms can be played by two people — you don't need a big group. For two, a room costs €88 (€44 per person), and every clue is yours alone: no six-way debates, no waiting, a far more intense hour.

  • First time as a pair: The Witch — level 2, comfortably doable in 60 minutes.
  • A date with a thrill: Taphephobia (16+) or Die Todeshöhle — both for four people at most. In Taphephobia everyone lies in their own coffin; with four you play in teams of two against each other.
  • If you puzzle a lot: The Castle Cell, level 4.5 — sporting for two, but doable.
  • If you want to know: Seven Kingdoms, level 5 — our trickiest room, and a real statement as a two.

The Dungeon is 18+ and no walk in the park for two either: since July 2025, 8 whole groups have bailed out.

Want to pop the question? We build a marriage proposal into any of our seven rooms — the ring sits exactly where you find it on the way to the solution. Decorations, flowers or a glass of sparkling wine on the way out: talk to us beforehand and we will arrange it with you. How we plan your proposal →

And if you can't agree?

Then split up: both locations have several rooms starting no more than 30 minutes apart. The horror faction into the Dungeon, the others into Seven Kingdoms — and afterwards you compare times.
