The fear scale: from uneasy to walking out

• Dungeon — 18+, Old Town: medieval horror with shock elements, our hardest room. Since it opened in July 2025, 8 whole groups and 17 individuals have quit early. If you read that and book anyway, you know what you're in for.
• Taphephobia — 16+, Old Town: everyone gets their own coffin — so four does not make it tighter, it makes it a contest: two teams of two against each other. Claustrophobic in the best sense.
• Die Todeshöhle — 14+, Bogenhausen: survival horror, level 3. You wake up in a cold store, and you're not alone.
• The Witch — 8+, Bogenhausen: family scares, level 2. Spooky enough for Halloween, harmless enough for kids.
• No horror at all: Seven Kingdoms, The Castle Cell and The Chinese Box — suspense yes, jump scares no.

Halloween with kids: scares from 8, without nightmares

The Witch is our family room for exactly this evening: a lonely hut, strange potions, a crackling fire — and the witch who'll be back soon. Recommended from age 8, level 2, comfortably doable in 60 minutes.

Up to age 11 an adult plays along in the room and counts towards the group size. From 12 to 15, kids may play on their own with a parental consent form; in rooms rated 14+ only from 14, and 12 and 13-year-olds play there with an adult in the room. Groups of children and teens may bring one more player as long as no more than one person is 16 or older: The Witch up to 6, The Chinese Box up to 8. If you'd rather skip even the gentle scares, take the Schatulle — Far Eastern magic without a single shock moment, and wheelchair accessible too.

As a group at Halloween: up to 23 people at once

More than seven of you? Then you play in several rooms in parallel and compare times afterwards — up to 23 people at the same time in Bogenhausen, up to 17 in the old town. Handy for Halloween groups that split into horror fans and the more cautious anyway: some go into the Dungeon, the others into Burgverlies, and everyone tells their own version afterwards.

The price is the same everywhere, no surcharges: from €26 per person with seven, €44 as a pair.

Slots around 31 October

The online calendar shows live availability for both locations. The weekends before Halloween go first — if you want to play on the 31st itself, book two to three weeks ahead. Around Halloween spontaneous slots get tight — the live calendar shows whether anything is left today.

Late slots exist at both locations: in the old town we play until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, in Bogenhausen until 11 pm.

A gift waits at the end

Every mission you play comes with a small gift for your team, handed over on site — we won't say what it is. Only this much: it fits in a pocket, and once you have one, you'll want the next.
