You're locked in a room for 60 minutes and try to find the way out as a team. The rooms are full of clues, hidden objects and mechanisms. Your game master explains everything beforehand and supports you with hints during the game.
The game lasts 60 minutes. Allow about 80 minutes for your visit because there's a short briefing first. So please be on site 15 minutes before your booked time.
The missions suit everyone who likes to get active and would rather think for themselves than watch others do it. No special powers or skills required.
Yes. The Chinese Box in Bogenhausen is one of the few escape rooms in Munich that are wheelchair accessible and playable. Up to three wheelchair users can play there with one companion. One thing to know in advance: the room is accessible, the toilet is not — it cannot be reached by wheelchair. For special requirements just call or email us — we'll find a solution.
Our rooms are designed for groups of 2 to 7. Larger groups and team events can book several rooms at the same time — up to 23 people in Bogenhausen, up to 17 in the old town. One more than the room takes? Just ask — we will find a way.
Yes, depending on the room. The Witch and The Chinese Box are recommended from age 8 and ideal for families. Seven Kingdoms, The Castle Cell and The Cave of Death we recommend from 14 (from 12 when accompanied), Taphephobia from 16. The Dungeon is strictly for adults 18 and over.
Our old-town location is central, at Westenriederstraße 41 — a few minutes' walk from Marienplatz and Isartor, easy to reach by S-Bahn and U-Bahn. The second location is in Bogenhausen in the east, Cosimastraße 131, easy to reach via the Mittlerer Ring and tram 17.
Yes, as long as the room's maximum isn't exceeded. You don't need to register the extra person in advance — just bring enough cash. Note that Taphephobia can only be played by two or by four.
Up to 48 hours before the start you can cancel or rebook free of charge. After that, the full price is due. Cancel or rebook via the link in your confirmation, by email or by phone.
We rate the rooms from level 1 to 5. Don't worry: every game is challenging but solvable, and your game master keeps you in the flow. Your first escape room? Play level 5 (Seven Kingdoms) with at least four people so you can split up.

No. Every group plays on its own — you're only in the room with the people you booked with.
Yes, every room can be played by two — as a pair you pay €44 per person. For couples we recommend The Witch (from 8, level 2) or The Cave of Death (from 14, level 3). If you like it intense, choose Taphephobia, which is played by two or by four only.
Yes. Every room can be played in German or English — just let us know when booking or on arrival and you'll get the briefing in English.
Dungeon (18+): medieval horror with shock elements — since July 2025, 8 whole groups and 17 individuals have bailed out early. Then The Cave of Death and Taphephobia (16+). For suspense without horror: Seven Kingdoms, The Castle Cell, The Witch or The Chinese Box.
Then we help. Your game master follows the game for the full hour and says the right thing at the right moment — a keyword, a question, a tip. You solve the puzzles yourselves, we make sure you don't stall.
€44 per person as a pair, €26 per person with seven — a team starts at €88, and you play from two people upwards. The price applies to every room at both locations, no surcharges. Birthday kids play free from 4 people, students save €5 per ID.
