Oktoberfest weeks at the escape room — one more escape room before the first Prost

Before the tent: the 4 or 5 pm slot

The table in the tent is booked for the evening, the group is already in town at midday with nothing to do — that is the classic Wiesn gap. A round with us fills exactly those three hours: 60 minutes of play, time to talk it over afterwards, and then you head on together.

From the old town location it is a five-minute walk into the city centre, a few minutes to the S-Bahn and U3/U6, and about a quarter of an hour to the Theresienwiese. So you do not have to travel out to the edge of town and back.

Companies and teams already in town

During Oktoberfest, teams meet up in Munich who otherwise only see each other on video calls. The tent visit in the evening is fixed — what happens before it usually is not. That is what we set several rooms up in parallel for: up to 23 people play at once in Bogenhausen, up to 17 in the old town. Small teams, different missions, and the times get compared at the end — after which the group knows each other well enough for the long evening.

The two quietest weeks of the year

Not everyone wants to go to the Wiesn. For everyone else, these sixteen days are the most relaxed time to do something in Munich: the city centre is empty in the evening, the rooms are quiet, and during the week you will still find slots at short notice that are otherwise gone weeks in advance.

If you are coming with children, take an afternoon slot: The Witch and The Chinese Box work for children from 8, both in Bogenhausen and both far from the crowds.

Opening hours during Oktoberfest

We play our regular hours: old town Monday to Thursday and Sunday 11 am–11 pm, Friday and Saturday 11 am–midnight; Bogenhausen 10 am–9 pm, Friday and Saturday until 11 pm. Live availability for both locations is always in the booking calendar.

Afternoons fill up quickly on the Wiesn weekends; during the week something is usually still free at short notice. Two to three days ahead is normally enough — for larger groups, plan a week.

Coming in traditional dress?

Dirndl and Lederhosen are no problem in our rooms — there is no climbing and no crawling, and shoes stay on. Bags, jackets and anything else in the way go into a locker at reception.

A gift waits at the end

Every mission you play comes with a small gift for your team, handed over on site — we won't say what it is. Only this much: it fits in a pocket, and once you have one, you'll want the next.
